‘Captain Cool’ Dhoni turns 39 today

Known as brilliant finisher and ending match with big shot in cricket, wicket keeper batsman of India MS Dhoni is a legend in the game and popular around the world.

Its been more than a decade, Dhoni’s batting style has been a headache for the bowlers especially the helicopter shot.

Due to his calm and composed behaviour he is referred as ‘captain cool’.

His decision related to the review taken on the field is so apt that people claimed jokingly that DRS stands for Dhoni Review System not Decision Review System.

Dhoni had made his debut in 2004 as ODI player against Bangladesh and in December 2014 he announced his retirement from test cricket.

In 2017, he handed over the captaincy to Virat Kohli and at present enjoying his time away from cricket with his family and friends.

His last played cricket is World Cup 2019.
